Instead of carrying handcuffs, volunteers from the Pleasanton Police Department will be carrying trays, taking orders and raising money for Special Olympics this Friday night at Strizzi’s.

The popular Tip-A-Cop fundraiser will be held on Friday, Nov. 21 between 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Strizzi’s in downtown Pleasanton.

Pleasanton Police have had great success during past Tip-A-Cop fundraisers. Earlier this year, officers garnered a $1,000 tip from a benevolent diner during one of the events held at Chili’s.

All of the tips raised during the Friday fundraiser will benefit the 16,000 athletes of Special Olympics Northern California.
