The Rialto Police Department in conjunction with the Rialto Fire Department and Rialto Unified School District will be conducting a joint Active School Shooter Exercise at Carter High School (2630 N Linden Ave, Rialto, CA). The exercise will take place on Monday November 24th from 0800 until 1400. Simulated gunfire as well as role players caring replica firearms will be present. The exercise will be a simulation of an active school shooter event and will entail the emergency response of police and fire. This is a simulation only and will be conducted during the Thanksgiving holiday break when school is not in session. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Lt. James Kurkoske 909-820-2568.
