Seat Belt campaign -- Nov. 20 - 30, 2014. 
The Montpelier Police Department will be participating in a statewide seat belt campaign from November 20 - 30, 2014. MPD officers will be conducting extra patrol using grant funds that are administered by the Idaho Transportation Department.
Officers will be issuing citation to those who choose not to wear their seat belts. The fines range from $10.00 to $84.00 for violating Idaho's safety restraint laws.
Montpelier Police Department would like to remind all motorists to buckle up and drive responsibly over this Thanksgiving holiday season.
