On Wednesday November 19th at 7:00pm, APD officers were sent to 2510 SW 45th on a robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival officers spoke with the female employee of the business who stated that as she was preparing to lock up the business for the night, when an H/M walked in the business wearing a black hoodie and a black ski mask over his face. The clerk immediately realized the suspect was there to harm her or rob her so she ran to the office where she closed the door and attempted to call 911. The suspect chased her to the office, where he kicked open the office door and threatened her with a hammer. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of money and left the business. There was no vehicle seen or heard. The victim was not physically injured in the robbery. There is no further description at this time.
