Holiday Season = Potential Increase in Residential Burglary and Theft, If You See Somthing, Say Something!
With the holiday season comes the return for potential increase in residential burglary and theft. Over the course of the last week, Arcadia and the surrounding cities have seen residential burglary popping up throughout the area. This screen shot from CrimeMapping.com shows just the residential burglary activity in and near Arcadia from 11/12-18/14. We encourage you to subscribe to CrimeMapping and take advantage of the "Crime Alerts" notification feature. Stay abreast of activity in your neighborhood and the surrounding community.
Please take a look at our recent APD Blog post on Burglary Prevention at Home for tips and additional information. And, as always, please be our eyes and ears in your neighborhoods. The Department has deployed additional officers specifically targeting residential burglary intervention, both in marked and unmarked units, but you know your neighborhood best. If you See Something, Say Something!
