On Saturday November 15th at 12:23pm, APD officers were sent to the 3900 block of NE 32nd on a burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers located a male and female in the front yard of the residence. The female is an acquaintance of the property owner and had been called to check the house because a neighbor had seen two individuals attempting to gain entry into the residence. The male was identified and placed in a patrol car while officers conducted their investigation. With information given by witnesses, it was determined that the male that was now sitting in the patrol car was indeed one of the suspects that had broken into the house. While still at the scene, officers located another male subject walking down the street that fit the description of the second suspect. This male subject was also taken into custody. Officers did locate property taken by the suspects and it was returned to the owner. Arrested were Donavan Lee Mincey W/M 20 and Benjamin Claude Snowden W/M 19. Both were arrested and booked into Potter County Correction Center on charges of Burglary of a Habitation.
