Illegal tire dumping in Carson County- Suspect(s) identification sought

Amarillo Crime Stoppers is certified to serve all of Potter, Randall and Carson Counties. This release is shared for the Carson County community:

The Carson County Sheriff’s Office is a proud partner with Amarillo’s Crime Stoppers and we are asking for citizen assistance to identify the person/persons responsible for dumping nearly two hundred used tires in Carson County. Our residents don’t deserve to have their property or our county roads used as a dumping ground for such waste. The cost to dispose of each tire runs between $5 and $7. Any information you can give that would help us arrest and convict such offenders and make them responsible for disposal costs would be greatly appreciated. Deputy Dennis Moore serves as an advisory board member for Amarillo Crime Stoppers. Deputy Moore can be reached at (806.537.3511) or if you have anonymous information, you can call the Amarillo Crime Stoppers hotline at 374.4400 or text “ACS” plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES). For more information on this crime and how it may affect the community, please contact Sheriff Brand.
