Three North Vernon Residents Arrested After Meth Lab Discovered In Home
Jennings County: Three North Vernon residents were arrested after a Methamphetamine lab was discovered inside their trailer on Wentworth Way in North Vernon.
On November 12, 2014 around 3:33 PM, Indiana State Police Trooper Randel Miller and Probationary Trooper Dustin Whitaker went to the residence to serve a warrant. Once inside the trailer, they located the subject of the warrant, Earl Spicer 29, of North Vernon and also discovered items commonly used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Some methamphetamine and numerous items of paraphernalia were seized as well.
Spicer was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine along with two Scott County warrants charging Escape and Failure to Appear. Glenda Esteb 22, of North Vernon was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine and Joseph Hughes 32, of North Vernon was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine. All three were booked into the Jennings County Jail without incident.
Assisting Indiana State Police units at the residence was the Jennings County Sheriff Department, North Vernon Police Department, Jennings County Superior Probation and 911 Jennings Central Dispatch.
