Laurel – A man from Laurel was arrested at his home around 3 a.m. this morning by Pendleton District Meth Suppression Troopers on an arrest warrant. The warrant was issued by the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office as the result of an ongoing investigation into the manufacture of Methamphetamine.

The arrest was the culmination of an investigation that began with a search warrant being served on the residence at 25129 Vanetta Rd., Laurel, on November 5th. On that day Meth Suppression Troopers found and dismantled a meth lab, but couldn’t locate the man that lived there.

As a result of that search warrant an arrest warrant was issued for Daniel Crawford, age 42 of that address. Crawford was located back at that address early this morning. He was arrested on a warrant for Dealing Methamphetamine, level 5 Felony; Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony; Possession of Precursors, Level 6 Felony and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony.

Crawford was lodged in the Franklin County Jail with a $20,000 bond. Often times meth labs are found as the result of a tip from a family member, friend or neighbor.
