Incidents:  298 Reports: 39

#003:   Fatal Traffic Incident 

Officers were dispatched to the area of Fremont Blvd/Paseo Padre Pkwy to investigate a report of a traffic collision.  Upon arrival, they located a vehicle that crashed into a light pole.   The driver, a 42 year old Fremont resident, was driving his son to school and suffered a medical emergency.  He was transported to a local Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The investigation revealed the accident was likely caused by the medical condition and did not cause the death of the driver.  Investigated by Traffic Officer Kennedy

#012: Assault with a Deadly Weapon 

A victim on Fontainebleau Park Ln reported that his step-son hit him with a skateboard after an argument.  The suspect, a 20 year old male, fled the scene prior to PD arrival.  Case investigated by Officer Richards

#013: Residential Burglary

A residential Burglary occurred between 10:45am and 11:25am on Siward Drive.  The unknown suspect(s) used a large rock to shatter the rear sliding glass door.  Several electronics were stolen. No suspect leads at this time.

Incident #P14093981: Suspicious Vehicle

At approximately 1:15pm, a citizen near Via San Gabriel and Camino Santa Barbara called in a suspicious vehicle in the area.  The caller stated an older white Chevy Tahoe, lowered with a loud muffler, with a Hispanic Male driver and a Hispanic Female passenger, were seen driving through the area.  The caller believed the subjects could be casing the area for deliveries since a Fed Ex truck had just been through the area.  The vehicle left the area prior to police arrival. 

*** As the Holiday Season approaches, thieves will be on the lookout for opportunities to steal packages.  Please be cautious when having packages delivered to your home.  Always call the Fremont Police Department to report any suspicious vehicles or suspicious people in the area.*** 

#019: Public Intoxication

Officer Robinson and Officer Sasser stop a 22 year old male near Cadiz Drive and Grama Terrace.  The male is found to be too intoxicated to care for himself and is subsequently placed under arrest and transported to jail.

#031: Missing person at risk

 CSO Oliveira responded to the report of a 58 year old male who suffered from a serious medical condition, who had been missing for three hours. The male had left his residence on “J” Street in Niles to look for a “burrito”. His care giver became concerned when he didn’t return so the police were called. Due to his pre-existing medical condition, the hours of darkness and being cold out, we initiated a Code Red alert, coupled with teletypes to surrounding agencies.  After an extensive search the male was located on Walnut near BART.

#039:  Possession of Methamphetamine/Heroin

Officer J. Hernandez stopped a bicyclist on Fremont Blvd/Parish Avenue.  He contacted a 23 year old male who was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine, Heroin and drug paraphernalia.  The male was cited and release.

#001:  Warrant Arrest

Officers Forsberg and Officer Loughery contact a subject at the Main Library.  The 55 year old male was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

#003:  DUI Collision

Officers respond to a suspicious circumstance in the 38000 block of Mission Blvd.  They locate a solo vehicle collision.  The driver, a 42 year old male, was arrested by Officer Olivera for Driving under the influence.
