Unfounded Bomb Threat at Etiwanda High School being Investigated

SUMMARY:
On November 13, 2014, at about 07:52 a.m., Sheriff’s Dispatch received a bomb threat at Etiwanda High School. The reporting party stated he was a student and witnessed a subject placing a suspicious device in the school. School security, deputy sheriffs and the fire department personnel responded. A thorough search was conducted and no suspicious devices were located. Deputies contacted the subject that was described as placing the device in the school. The bomb threat was unfounded.
The case is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Department.
