LAPD detectives have detained one man this afternoon, believed to have information related to the shooting death of Francisco Garcia last Sunday morning.
The man's name will be released, once the decision is made to book him on a criminal charge.
The detention was made following leads that came into detectives over the last two days. Police stopped the man as he was driving with his parents in Sylmar.
More information will be released when someone is booked, or once charges are filed with prosecutors.
In the meantime, detectives are not available for interviews this evening.
