On November 2, 2014 at approximately 6:42 p.m., the Los Banos Police Department responded to the 1400 Block of Quail Street for a report of shots fired. Police located bullet holes in the front siding of the house; fortunately none of the seven occupants inside the house were injured.
A white four-door Honda was seen fleeing the area south on Ashbury Drive after the shots were fired. It is still unclear if the Honda is involved in the shooting, but Detectives would like to speak with the occupants of that vehicle.
“This appears to be a gang motivated shooting. Our detectives are still reviewing evidence and piecing together the details. We believe one of the intended victims has gang connections, he was not cooperative with investigators at the scene.”
