The suspects arrested in the robbery occurring Wednesday morning, November 5, 2014 at 11:43 am in the parking lot of Burger King Restaurant in West Covina have been identified as:
1. Jose Guadalupe Osuna, 21 years old of West Covina, CA – booked for robbery, burglary, and criminal gang activity. Bail $50,000.00
2. Christopher Matthew Soto, 34 of Bassett, CA – booked for robbery, burglary, resisting arrest, criminal gang activity, probation violation and a narcotics warrant – No Bail
Both suspects were still at the location when officers arrived. Suspect Osuna was arrested on scene while the Suspect Soto fled on foot. He was apprehended a short time later. Both are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, November 7, 2014 at 8:30 am at the West Covina Superior Court, 1427 West Covina Parkway, West Covina.
Detectives are still investigating the possibility that there may be additional victims, and other locations such as in Covina (which borders West Covina in that area). A possible victim driving an orange older model pickup truck left the area prior to the arrival of the Officers.
