CCUSD Backpacks for Kids Food Drive.

Did you know that more than 45% of CCUSD students receive free or reduced price lunches at their schools every day? For many students, this vital resource includes free breakfast. In some circumstances, healthy, reliable meals on the weekends are not a guarantee. Since 2013, the CCUSD Backpacks for Kids Program has provided nearly 70 backpacks per week to students representing every CCUSD school who may not have access to healthy food during the weekend. Parents and staff work together to identify students in need. On Thursdays, parents and student volunteers fill the backpacks at one location, and they are delivered every Friday to each school for students to take home anonymously.

Donations of any of the items below can be dropped off at the CCUSD District Office (4034 Irving Place) or at the main office, any CCUSD school site, or at the Culver City Police Department (4040 Duquesne Ave.).
