Greater Palm Springs Pride Festival: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7, 8 & 9

Pride events:

~ Arenas Road Block Party: 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Block party takes place on Arenas Road between Calle Encilia and Indian Canyon

~ Pride Festival: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Festival taking place on Palm Canyon Drive between Amado Road and Baristo Road

~ Tea Dance: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday on Tahquitz between Palm Canyon and Indian Canyon

Pride Parade: Parade starts at 10 a.m. Sunday and marches from Tachevah south to Amado – estimated 2 hour parade with 160 entries

Street closures associated with the Pride events:

--Arenas Road between Calle Encilia and Indian Canyon will be closed starting at 6 a.m. on Friday and will reopen by 3 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10.

--Palm Canyon between Amado and Baristo will close starting at 10 p.m. Friday and will reopen by 3 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10

--Palm Canyon between Vista Chino and Alejo will be closed by 5:30 a.m. Sunday for pre-stage of the parade

--Palm Canyon between Alejo and Amado closes at 9 a.m. Sunday for the parade

--The cross streets of Alejo and El Alameda will remain open until 10 a.m. Sunday, then close for the parade

--Palm Canyon will be open from Vista Chino to Amado by 2 p.m. Sunday
