Warrant Issued for Clinton Taco Bell/KFC Burglary

Vermillion County—On May 22, 2014, between the hours of 02:48 a.m. and 03:36 a.m., the Clinton Taco Bell/KFC was burglarized by an unknown male wearing dark and camouflaged clothing. Indiana State Police gathered physical evidence at the scene as well as video surveillance footage. Since that time, ISP investigator Don Anglin has been working on this case which has resulted in a Vermillion County Circuit Court arrest warrant for the suspect.

Warrant Issued for Suspect: Richard Herbert Hall Pinkham Jr., age 39, of Indianapolis, IN.
Held in Monroe County Indiana Jail

Charge: Burglary

During the course of the investigation, Detective Anglin became aware that a suspect had been arrested on May 27, 2014 while attempting to burglarize a Taco Bell in Boonville, IN (Warrick County). Physical evidence found in Boonville appeared to match some of the evidence discovered during the investigation of the Clinton Taco Bell/KFC. After using the evidence at the Clinton scene and conducting many interviews over the course of nearly five months, Detective Anglin was able to secure an arrest warrant for Pinkham. Pinkham is currently held in the Monroe County Indiana Jail on other criminal charges. It is unknown when Pinkham will be brought to Vermillion County to address the burglary charge, but the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office has placed a hold on Pinkham through the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Pinkham has also been charged in Daviess, Hamilton, Monroe, Putnam, and Warrick counties in Indiana for similar burglaries.

Pinkham was unable to access any money during the Clinton Taco Bell/KFC burglary.

Assisting Detective Anglin were ISP Crime Scene Investigator Sergeant Kris Fitzgerald and the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
