Egan field area will be closed to public at 4PM today for police training. No vehicle traffic past 1 Oak Lane. 
The Essex Fells Police Department will be conducting training in the parking lots at Egan Field. For safety reasons no one will be permitted into the area during the training. As the park closes at 4:47PM today (sunset) this should pose minimal inconvenience to the general public.
