Voorhees Township and surrounding towns have been experiencing residential day time burglaries. Some residents are reporting that unknown individuals have been in their neighborhoods knocking on doors and soliciting different types of business services. One of the patterns that VTPD has been tracking is that one or more individuals will knock on the front door of a residence in an attempt to determine if a person is home. If the homeowner answers the door, the individual will quickly try to solicit some type of service and move on to the next house. If you encounter anyone acting suspicious or soliciting in your neighborhood or if you observe a suspicious vehicle, please contact the Voorhees Police Department’s non-emergency number at (856) 428-5400 to report the information.
