Greetings All,
It’s that time of year again. And again…We, the Monterey Park Police Explorer Post have partnered up with the St. Stephen’s Community Outreach Program this Holiday season. The Outreach Program provides food, clothing, and other items to needy and homeless people throughout our community. Please help us by bringing clothing and food items that will be donated through the Outreach Program to a needy person or family. There will be containers set up outside the Monterey Park Police Department’s Community Relations Office, inside the city hall lobby, starting Monday November 17, 2014 during normal business hours. For After hours donations, please contact the Police Department’s Front Desk. We are accepting new or used clothing items (in good condition only), canned food, or other non-perishable food items. All of these items will be delivered to the Community Outreach Program by Sat. November 22, 2014 and another delivery on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2014.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated by us and all needy folks this Holiday season. Also….if you would like, I know the outreach program could use a frozen turkey donation or a gift card from a local grocery store to help fulfill the food need.
