UPDATE - Fontana - Homicide Investigators arrest a suspect in the Murder and Attempt Murder that occurred Nov 1st

INCIDENT: Murder/Attempt Murder
LOCATION: 9000 Block of Beech Avenue, Fontana
SUSPECT(s): Christopher Jason age 32 of Colton
VICTIMS: Ronald Belk (deceased), age 51 of Trabuco Canyon; 48 year old male (hospitalized)
15 year old male (hospitalized) both of Fontana
SUMMARY: UPDATE
On Monday, November 3, 2014, homicide investigators arrested the suspect, Christopher Jason, for the Murder of Ronald Belk and the Attempted Murder of the two additional victims. Christopher Jason was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC 187 Murder.
The 15 year old victim has been released from the hospital. The 48 year old victim remains hospitalized however, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available for release at this time.

On Saturday, November 1, 2014, at approximately 3:56 p.m., deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station were flagged down on Beech Avenue regarding a shooting that had occurred in the 9000 block of Beech Avenue in the unincorporated area of Fontana.
Upon arrival, deputies located three male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The three victims were transported to a local area hospital for treatment of their injuries. Ronald Belk, age 51 was pronounced deceased at approximately 4:34 p.m. A 48 year old male and a 15 year old male juvenile remain hospitalized.
Investigators from the Sheriff's Homicide Detail responded to the location and are conducting the investigation. The suspect(s) have not been identified and remain outstanding. The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available for release at this time.
