Conyers Police investigators have received at least two reports today of scammers calling victims representing themselves as a Conyers Police detective. The scammer would tell the person that they are a victim of fraud and need to provide their banking information as part of the case. Another victim advised the "detective" stated they were holding someone and needed the victim's banking information in order to be released.
