DATE OF RELEASE: November 3, 2014
Beginning today, November 3, 2014, the sidewalks around the 450 unit residential project located at 301 S. Glendora will be closed due to the construction of the required street improvements and residential units adjacent to the streets for 12 months. A temporary fence will be installed along the closed sidewalk for safety and signs will be in place to direct pedestrians of to alternate safe routes. The affected streets are portions of Lakes Drive, Glendora Avenue and Walnut Creek Parkway. In addition, Lakes Drive between Lakes Drive and Glendora Avenue will be re-striped to one 12-foot wide travel lane in the eastbound direction.
Remember, pedestrians have the right-of-way at all times. Please be cognizant of the speed limit and we ask that drivers and pedestrians exercise due caution in this area during this construction period.
