On Nov 1st at approximately 9:40 PM, APD officers initiated a traffic stop near SE 3rd Ave/ Grand on a white Lincoln Towncar. The driver was later identified as Tyson Anderson, a 22 year old black male of Amarillo. The evading driver turned south onto S Grand St and drove several more blocks finally turning east onto SE 6th Ave and traveled an additional half a block before finally pulling over. The driver and the passenger were both removed from the vehicle and handcuffed. The passenger was identified and found to be Amarillo Crime Stoppers Weekly Fugitive Jessica Esparza Conley, a 38 year old Hispanic female of Amarillo. A search of the vehicle lead officers to discover a semi-automatic pistol found under the front seat of the vehicle. Both occupants are previously convicted felons and both were arrested for Felon In Possession of Firearm. Anderson was additionally charged for Evading with a Motor Vehicle and he also had 3 City of Amarillo Warrants for traffic violations. Both subjects were booked into the Potter County Correctional Center.
