The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is providing an update regarding the victims of today’s boating incident in Bodega Bay. They are identified as:
1) Jessie Daniel Langley - 79 year old male from Bodega Bay, CA
2) Samuel Garcia – 86 year old male from Bodega Bay, CA
3) David Costa – 60 year old male from Ripon, CA
There is a fourth victim, also an adult. We are not releasing identifying information until the victim’s next of kin can be notified. Investigators at the Coroner’s Office are working diligently to accomplish this, and we will provide an update as information develops. Family members of the victims who’s names we are releasing have been notified.
Our hearts go out to the friends and family of those who passed in today’s tragic event, and the member of the group who survived to be rescued from the rocks.
