Press Release: Golf Cart Thefts

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Officer Michael DeSimone and Detective Jeffrey Malone
NARRATIVE:
On 10/29/14 Officer Michael DeSimone responded to the Hollywood Golf Course in reference to a report of stolen golf carts. An investigation revealed that between the hours of 7:00 pm 10/28/14 and 7:00 am 10/29/14, unknown subjects entered the grounds of the Hollywood Golf Course and removed 8 gas powered “Club Car” brand golf carts. The actors cut a hole in a chain link fence on an adjacent dead end street and likely loaded the carts onto a trailer.
