THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A FREEZE WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

* TIMING...THE TEMPERATURE IS EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW THE FREEZING MARK LATE FRIDAY NIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS IN THE MIDDLE 20S TO AROUND 30 DEGREES ARE FORECAST.

* IMPACTS...SENSITIVE PLANTS AND TREES MAY BE DAMAGED OR KILLED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FREEZE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE. THESE CONDITIONS COULD DAMAGE OR KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
