On October 28th, the Potter County Sheriff`s Office was called to the construction site located at the Canadian River Bridge at approximately 7:42 AM. Gilvin-Terril Ltd reported a missing 2000 model Cat 980G wheel loader missing from the work site. The vehicle was driven by the suspect(s) a distance of several miles and dumped on state land. The vehicle was found to have significant damages when recovered by deputies with the assistance of a privately owned and operated helicopter. The equipment is a total loss declared at a value of several hundred thousand dollars.
