Original Message:

At 1:54 p.m. Fremont Dispatch received a call of an overturned gravel truck (18-wheeler) at the exit of I-680/Mission Blvd. in the Mission San Jose area of town (north Mission Blvd. exit of I-680).  Due to the extent of the spill, motorists are advised to avoid the area for the next several hours.

The north and southbound lanes of Mission Blvd. have been reduced to one lane and traffic is severely backed up.   The clean-up is extensive and will take several hours to clear.

The driver suffered minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved.
