Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male, Black adult, that occurred at approximately 4:41 A.M. on Monday, October 27, 2014, in the 1700 block of West 125^th Street, Los Angeles.

Detectives have learned that deputies from South Los Angeles Station responded to the area regarding a “shots fired” call.  When they arrived, they found the victim lying in the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, there are no witnesses to the shooting and it is unknown if the incident is gang related.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the 1700 Block of West 125th Street, Los Angeles (Co), to investigate the circumstance surrounding the shooting death of a man.

The male adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no additional information available at this time.
