On October 26th at approximately 0715 hours Officers responded to the parking lot of Burger King, located at 1358 Madonna Rd., for a reported stabbing that had just occurred. Officers arrived to find the victim with a laceration to his torso. The suspect and victim are acquaintances and were arguing prior to the attack. The victim and an independent witness provided a description of the suspect and his bicycle. The victim was treated at the scene by medical personnel and released.
An assisting San Luis Obispo Police Officer located a bicycle matching the description at McDonalds, 275 Madonna. The Officer then located S/ANGELICO in the parking lot and, after further investigation, placed him under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon. S/ANGELICO was cooperative and taken into custody without incident. The knife was recovered and booked as evidence. S/ANGELICO was booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail on a charge of 245(a)(1)PC, Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Bail was set at $25,000.
