No Parking will be allowed on the Children and Evening Parade
Routes and US 51 detour route for Saturday

There will be no parking allowed on the route for the Children’s Parade starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 24. The parade starts at 11 a.m. and the restriction shall remain in effect until the parade ends. The parade travels westbound on Broadway starting at the library, south on Locust Street and east on Second Street ending at Sycamore Street.

There will be no parking allowed on the route for the 88th Annual Halloween Parade starting at 5:30 p.m. The parade starts at 7:00 p.m. and the restriction shall remain in effect until the parade ends. The parade begins at Rhodes Street and travels southbound on Poplar Street (US Hwy 51 South) until Calumet.

Due to several vehicles using the US 51 detour routes, no parking will be allowed on Locust Street from Rhodes Street to McCord.
