Good morning. The North Brunswick Police Department is advising residents of situation that occurred yesterday afternoon. Residents of the Renaissance area reported yesterday that at approximately 5:00pm, a male subject rang her doorbell. When she opened the door, this individual stated that he was from PSE&G, and needed to enter her home to check her gas. Being suspicious, she told him that she would have to call PSE&G to verify, at which point he quickly left the area. The resident called Police well after the subject left the area, so he was not located. He is described as a heavy, black male, approximately 6' 00" and 300 lbs, with very short hair. Please notify the Police Department if this person is observed in the area, as well as anytime this type of suspicious activity occurs. Thank you, and have a great day.
