The Sheriff's Homicide Detail wants your help solving the murder of a man whose body was found along a creek in Fallbrook nearly 20 years ago.
On August 13, 1995, an unidentified body was found near Sandia Creek and Rock Mountain Road in the Santa Margarita Creek area of Fallbrook. The victim had been fatally shot.
In 2010, a DNA match identified the body as 22-year-old Frank Bresson.
Bresson lived in Riverside when he was reported missing in August 1995. At the time, family members found his car abandoned in a Riverside parking lot. They filed a missing persons report. Bresson's body was found around the same time. But it took more than a decade before DNA confirmed Bresson's identity.
No suspect has ever been identified in Bresson's murder.
