Residents in Scotts Valley have been receiving calls from an individual claiming to be calling on behalf of the US Treasury regarding some unknown enforcement action. He states ignoring the call could lead to an appearance before a judge or grand jury for a federal offense. Please be advised that this is a SCAM and is not legitimate. As always residents are encouraged to not share personal information or send funds without verifying the authenticity of the requesting entity using an alternative source of contact.
