AVOID southbound Sycamore Drive, south of Los Angeles Avenue. 
A traffic accident that occurred overnight resulted in a power pole being downed. Southern California Electric crews are working to replace the pole, which has necessitated the closure of Sycamore Drive at Heywood Street. It is anticipated that all southbound traffic lanes will be closed until late this afternoon. All northbound lanes of Sycamore Dr. are open.
There are detour signs in the area, but drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route. Please consider using Erringer Road or Sequoia Ave. if you must travel south of Los Angeles Ave. until further notice.
