WINDSOR MURDER SUSPECTS CAPTURED
The Federal Bureau of Investigations and Mexican Officials, working on information provided by Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Investigation Detectives, have arrested the three suspects wanted in the murder of Nathaniel Torres of Windsor and attempted murder of three other victims.
Flavio Ramos Caballero, 17 years old, Duane Darcell Morgan, 16 years old, and Oscar Gustavo Aguilar, 17 years old, were arrested in the state of Sonora, Mexico this morning. They were delivered to United States authorities late this afternoon and were booked into the Pima County Jail in Arizona. They are awaiting extradition to California to face charges.
When they are returned to Sonoma County, Caballero, Morgan, and Aguilar will be arraigned on homicide and other charges for their involvement in the shooting at a residence that occurred in the Town of Windsor on the night of June 22, 2014. During that shooting, Nathaniel Torres was killed and three others were wounded.
Sergio Quiroz, a 21 year old resident of Santa Rosa, is currently being held without bail in the Sonoma County Jail as an accessory to the homicide.
