Early Saturday (10/18) morning, the Langston Police Department called OSBI for assistance reference a shooting on campus. Cameron DeShawn Hishaw, 22, was shot in the upper leg during a verbal and physical altercation in the parking lot of the Scholar's Inn apartments at approximately 1:30 a.m. Hishaw was transported to an Oklahoma City hospital. His wound is not considered life threatening. OSBI agents spent the weekend gathering evidence and information about the shooting. No arrest has been made. If anyone has information about the shooting, please call the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or the Langston Police Department. Hishaw is not a Langston University student.
