Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the Shooting death of a male adult and the wounding of a female adult in the 1600 block of East Avenue Q-6, Palmdale, on Sunday at approximately 12:20 am.
Detectives have learned that a birthday party was being hosted at the location when an argument turned into a physical altercation in the front yard.
The suspect, now identified as 27 year-old Alejandro Rivera, retrieved a firearm and shot 24 year-old Miguel Perez and a female adult.
Victim Miguel Perez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female shooting victim, was transported to a local hospital and listed as stable.
Suspect Alejandro Rivera fled the scene in a silver or beige Honda. He is a resident of Palmdale and should be considered armed and dangerous.

NARRATIVE:
Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are en route to the 1600 block of East Avenue Q6, Palmdale, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man and wounding of a woman.
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The female victim was transported to a local hospital where her condition is unknown.
