LIVONIA WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM REPAIR – POSSIBLE LOW WATER PRESSURE

The City of Livonia Water Department will be conducting repairs on water pressure regulating valves at Eight Mile and Newburgh starting Saturday, October 18th at 10:00pm. The repairs are expected to be completed by 6:00am on Sunday, October 19th. The repairs may result in temporary low water pressure in Livonia Saturday evening and Sunday morning for residents and businesses in the area west of Farmington Road.

It will NOT be necessary to boil water. Repairs may result in temporary discolored water, which can be resolved by waiting at least one hour then running the cold-water tap in the lowest sink in the house for 1-3 minutes. If still not clear, repeat in another hour. Do not run the hot water until cold water is running clear.
