On Friday October 17th, at 7:35am, APD officers were sent to the Zesty’s Taco at 2418 Amarillo Blvd East on a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival officers learned that a B/M in his 20”s came into the restaurant, pulled out a knife and demanded money from the employee. The suspect stole the employee’s cell phone and property belonging to the business and left on foot running west. He is described as being approximately 6’3 wearing a red coat, black pants, black gloves and wearing a red bandana over part of his face. There were no reported injuries in the robbery and no money was actually stolen.
