Chula Vista Police Seek Help in Identifying Cash Thieves

On 08/15/2014 at approximately 1435 hours, an unidentified suspect entered the Optimart gas station at 1450 Third Ave, Chula Vista and distracted the clerk while a second unidentified suspect entered the gas station through an unsecured rear door and stole the bank deposit from the office. Both suspects fled in a dark-colored SUV. The Loss was several thousand dollars in cash. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, approximately 30-years-old, 5'7", 160 lbs, with a goatee and short hair. S2 was wearing a black tank top and white shorts and had a Bluetooth ear piece in his right ear.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male, approximately 50-years-old, 6'0", 250 lbs, wearing a dark button down shirt, dark pants, and sunglasses. He had short dark and gray hair, with a salt and pepper goatee. He also wore a Bluetooth headset on his right ear as well.
Suspect #2 may be the same suspect in a similar San Diego Police Department case:
On Sunday July 1 at approximately 1:38pm, the unknown suspect entered the office of Mira Mesa Wines & Spirits, accessed an unlocked safe in the store's office and stole several thousand dollars in cash. Suspect is seen on the store video crawling into the office as store personnel were busy helping other customers.
