NARRATIVE:
On 10/15/14 at approximately 1:24 PM, Captain Michael Resetar observed a vehicle driving eastbound on Deal Road in an erratic manner. Captain Resetar stopped the vehicle and the driver advised he was rushing his wife to hospital because she was in labor.
As officers were awaiting the arrival of EMS personnel the mother began giving birth. Moments later, in the back seat of her car, the mother gave birth to a baby girl with the assistance of Oakhurst First Aid member Judith Brown, Officer Martinez and Officer Brady. Shortly after the delivery, Oakhurst First Aid transported both mother and baby to Monmouth Medical Center.
