Hunting season open Saturday 
The North Aurora Police Department would like to remind its residents, especially on the far west side, the waterfowl hunting season will open for the year on Saturday, October 18, 2014. The season will run through January 15, 2015.
Hunting/shooting hours are one half hour before sunrise until sunset. Hunting is allowed in unincorporated areas near the Village and the surrounding area. For more information, please go to www.dnr.illinois.gov.
