Sonoma County Sheriff's Office Investigates Home Invasion Robbery in Roseland area of Santa Rosa
On October 14, 2014, at about 4:30 PM, a resident in the 1400 block of Sebastopol Road, in Santa Rosa, was inside a shed on this property. Three armed suspects confronted him in the backyard and forced him into his main residence. Once inside, they ordered the man to hand-over some items. The struck him in the face and threatened him with guns and a knife.
About 10 pounds of marijuana was stolen; some processed stored in bags and some live plants. Also stolen were a video game system and games, music CDs, hand tools and a small safe.
The suspects also demanded keys and stole the man’s vehicle: a 1990 blue Nissan pick-up with his business name “Banquet Camacho” advertised on both doors.
The man was tied up in his house after a physical confrontation with the suspects. He was freed hours later when another housemate came home. After a period of time, the victim called to report the crime to the Sheriff’s Office.
The first suspect was described as a white male, about 38 years old, 5’6”, 180 lbs., with short brown hair. He wore a blue bandana over face, long sleeve green shirt, black pants, and held a black revolver. He spoke only English.
The second suspect was described as a white male, about 48 years old, 5’8”, 160 lbs. He was wearing a red/black beanie, blue bandana over face, black long sleeve shirt, black pants. He was armed with a dark handgun and spoke English.
The third suspect was described as a white female, about 35 years old, 5’5”, 160 lbs., with blonde hair, and blue eyes. She wore a white beanie and red and white long sleeve shirt. She was armed with a knife with 8” blade and spoke English and Spanish.
This case is actively being investigated by the Violent Crimes Detective Unit of the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to call the Investigations Bureau Tip Line at 707-565-2185.
If anyone sees the stolen Nissan truck, please do not approach it; instead call 911. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
