PRESS RELEASE: Manhattan Beach Police Department Responds to Apparent Suicide 
On October 15, 2014, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Manhattan Beach Police Department and Manhattan Beach Fire Department responded to the 400 Block of 2nd Street, Manhattan Beach (in the area of 2nd Street and Vista Drive) regarding a subject, who was on the ground and unresponsive. The Manhattan Beach Police Department found no sign of criminal activity and no foul play involved. The victim, a 25 year old male, apparently died as a result of suicide. There was no gun, shooting, or any weapons involved in the incident.
Out of respect for the victim’s family, the Manhattan Beach Police Department is not releasing his name.
