Due to recent home invasions, please be vigilant and lock your vehicle and house doors at night and please keep outdoor lighting lit. 
The Grosse Pointe Farms area has experienced numerous Home Invasions in the past two months. Numerous subjects have been taken into custody, yet we are still experiencing Home Invasions. The perpetrator is entering through unlocked house doors and also entering unlocked vehicles in driveways and unlocked garages. The Police Department is requesting the public's help in locking your house, garage and vehicle doors. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicles at night or purses in plain view thru home windows. We are also requesting residents to keep outdoor lighting lit all night until the suspect is captured. Please contact the Police Department if any suspicious activity is observed.
