Chino Hills Deputies Recovered $4000 of Stolen Property and Arrested Two Suspects

Suspects: Akeila Jefferson, 30 years of age, resident of Moreno Valley, CA
Keyosha Chapple, 31 years of age, resident of Moreno Valley, CA
SUMMARY:
On Friday, October 10, 2014, Chino Hills Deputies responded to the 13800 block of City Center Drive, located at The Shoppes at Chino Hills, to investigate a report of a commercial burglary from a local merchant. Deputies determined two suspects entered the business, grabbed merchandise from a display case, and fled without paying for the merchandise. Chino Hills Police Detectives and Major Enforcement Team members assisted with the investigation resulting in the identification of one of the suspects, which led investigators to a Moreno Valley apartment complex. A search warrant for the suspect’s apartment unit resulted in the recovery of stolen merchandise valued at approximately $4,000.00 and the arrest of two suspects.
Jefferson and Chapple were booked for investigation of commercial burglary at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga with bail set at $15,000 each.
