Chief Tim Lentz announces that the Covington Police Department will be participating in the National Night Out Against Crime tonight. Each year the Covington Police Department partners with local neighborhood associations to host this nationwide crime prevention event.
This year there are two neighborhood events scheduled. One event is being held at the intersection of W 20th Ave & N Madison Street beginning at 6:30pm. There will be free hotdogs and hamburgers for all.
The second event is being held at The Groves at Mile Branch community center from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
All Covington residents are invited to attend these events. This is a great chance to meet your neighbors and the police officers that serve our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
