Official statement from Dearborn Public Schools. See email/web message for further.
On Friday morning Dearborn police contacted Fordson High school with information on a possible threat to the school. As a precautionary measure the school was evacuated. Students were dismissed as police continued their investigation to ensure the safety of the school.
All students are safe and have returned home. Students will return on Monday as normal .
This was another example of the cooperation that exist between the Dearborn police and the Dearborn public schools to maintain a safe and secure school environment .
